hed mayner blacktop

A new silhouette unveiled during Hed Mayner autumn winter 24 show.
Hed’s idea with this shoe was to recreate the exaggerated proportions of an old Reebok Blacktop sneaker that he found during a research trip in Japan.

The shoe was so used that the toe deformed becoming bubble shaped.
This shape has been achieved by creating a very sculptural last and with a thorough stone washing process.
